Mouse & Kelley Adult XLT-Shirt, autographed in the late 1990’s by Jack Cassidy, superstar bass player for Jefferson Airplane and Hot Tuna. Front of T-Shirt is snowy white heavy weight cotton, in adult size Extra Large. Brand new shirt, was manufactured in the late 1990’s, licensed by and labeled, “Gildan Apparel, Inc.”

Image on the T-sirt is a reproduction of a design by Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley, created to advertise an infamous 1967 counter cultural event, A Gathering of the Tribes for a Human Be-In. The front of the shirt has a “Mouse-Kelley” logo on the upper left. On the back of the shirt is their reproduced design showing a purple and gray image that represents an Indian guru with long hair and a beard, with the third eye chakra on his forehead. Text above and below this image describes details of the free event. It took place, “Saturday, January 14, 1967,  1 – 5 pm, Golden Gate Park, San Francisco, California.” The event’s participants are listed as, “Allen Ginsberg, Timothy Leary, Richard Alpert, Michael McClure, Jerry Ruben (Rubin was misspelled), Dick Gregory, Gary Snyder, Jack Weinburg, Lenore Kandel, and All S.F. Rock Groups.”

Never worn, in mint condition, colors bright and clean.
