Vintage paper CELLUCAP hat made for MCDONALD’S RESTAURANT CHAIN employees from the early 1970’s used until 1981. The outside of the cap is marked on one side with a Golden “M” and “McDonald’s Corporation.” The cap is marked inside, “Cellucap, Philadelphia, PA 19140.” RAY KROC was among the company’s first clients. The bottom of the cap is made of BROWN stiff paper, and the top is made of cotton-type netting.
The cap measures 11 ¼ inches x 5 ½ inches, and can be adjusted to fit a head size from 6 7/8 inches to 7 5/8 inches. This hat is unused and in nearly mint condition, except for normal signs of aging and edge wear.
