Vintage 1940’s COCA-COLA CAP is a unique piece of paper ephemera. This was either an unused cap or a salesmen’s sample. Instructions for using the hat are marked inside, along with “PalCap, Paperlynen Co., Box 1498, Columbus, Ohio.” The cap is made from heavy, textured paper, and the inside features folded tissue paper. It is a cream colored shade of off-white with all printing in bright red ink.
This cap measures 11 ¼ inches wide x 3 inches high. Stored for decades, it was never opened or worn. There is yellowing and slightest staining due to age, but otherwise in excellent condition. A great addition to any Coca-Cola, restaurant, or Mid-Century American advertising collection!
