VINTAGE 1980s MCDONALDS CHICKEN McNUGGETS STRAW HAT CREW ADVERTISING RARE PROMOTIONAL – $29.50

Rare Vintage MCDONALD’S Chicken McNuggets white STRAW TOP HAT is encircled by a wide yellow heavy paper band, with black letters reading, “MAKE CHICKEN McNUGGETS #1.” This promotional hat was worn by crew members in McDonald’s Restaurants in the 1980’s to advertise this newest menu item. The inside of the hat is marked, “Made in the U.S.A.,” along with several patent pending marks. The hat is made of a synthetic plastic material that gives an appearance of being made of straw, like an old time top hat. The back rim is stylishly made to have a slightly upturned flip.

The hat measures 8 inches around the circumference. This employee issued hat appears to be in unused condition. The synthetic material is a natural dust attractor, and despite being in storage for decades, this item shows visible dirt. The yellow paper band also shows its age with tiny nicks, folds, and scratches. Extremely rare item that is a must have for any advertising, McDonald’s or fast food collector!
